Providing excellent customer service is important to MIDAS. Our aim is to provide you with an easy, enjoyable & convenient shopping experience.

Order FAQ

1. Browsing the Product Range

  • Use the navigation bar at the top of your screen to view the categories of different products. You can either Shop by Style or Shop by Trend.

2. Adding items to your shopping bag

  • Browse the website & click on any product image for more information & details.
  • Choose the correct colour & size.
  • Click Buy Online.
  • If the size or colour is sold out, you will not be able to select it, however if for some reason the product you select is not available, you will be contacted by a member of the MIDAS E-Team ASAP to discuss your options.
  • Ready to buy more? Click Continue Shopping

3. What is in your basket?

  • You can see just how much you have selected at any time by clicking View Shopping Cart.
  • To amend the quantity enter the new quantity and click Recalculate to update your shopping basket.
  • To remove an item from your basket tick the Delete checkbox next to that item and click Recalculate to remove it.
  • To purchase more products, click Continue Shopping.
  • Once you have finished shopping, click Checkout.

4. Checkout

  • To purchase your new MIDAS Shoes, select Checkout and you will be taken to our secure checkout.
  • Enter your billing and delivery details.
  • You may wish to save some time next time you order by creating a MIDAS Login which will remember your delivery details.
  • If you already have a MIDAS Login please enter your Username and Password and we will retrieve your details from your previous order automatically.

5. Order confirmation & payment

  • MIDAS only accepts credit card payments from MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Diners online.
  • Upon order confirmation and payment approval you should receive your product within 7 business days.

Although every effort is made to photograph products and show them exactly as they appear in life, colours represented on your computer screen do not always reflect the exact colour of the material used.


Deliveries & Shipping

Australian orders will be received within 7 working days from the date an order is placed.

For Australian addresses a $14.95 postage and handling fee is charged for each order of up to 2 pairs of shoes or bags. Each additional 2 pairs will incur an additional $14.95 postage and handling fee.

Additional belts will not be charged additional postage and handling fee if purchased in conjunction with footwear or bags. Accessories purchased without footwear or bags will incur a $14.95 postage and handling fee. E.g:

  • 1 pair of shoes/bag + 1 party feet = $14.95 postage and handling
  • 2 pairs of shoes/bag + 2 party feet = $14.95 postage and handling
  • 3 pairs of shoes/bag + 4 party feet = $29.90 postage and handling
  • 0 pairs of shoes/bag + 1 party feet = $14.95 postage and handling

Your order will be dispatched via Australia post.

For New Zealand orders a $40 postage and handling fee is charged for each order of up to 2 pairs of shoes or bags. Each additional 2 pairs will incur an additional $40.00 postage and handling fee. (Any additional customs duties and taxes incurred are payable by the customer)

Payment

MIDAS E-Store accepts:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Diners

We will not convert your total into any other currency other than Australian Dollars.
We will charge your credit card in Australian dollars & where relevant, your credit card company will convert the charges for you.
Prices of products, delivery or any other charges displayed on our website are current at the time of issue, but are subject to change at any time.
If your choice is not available, a member of the MIDAS E-Store will contact you.

GST, customs & duties

GST (Goods & Services Tax) of 10% is inclusive in all our prices.
All prices stated are in Australian Dollars.

The prices do not include any additional overseas duties or other customs charges that may be incurred for overseas delivery.

E-Store Returns

MIDAS is confident you will be happy with your purchase.
If for any reason this is not the case & you wish to exchange or refund your E-Store item please read on for more information.

Incorrect size or colour?

  • MIDAS E-Store is happy to exchange your goods for a second choice on one occasion without charging for a second delivery.
  • You are responsible for the associated costs to return the goods back to us.
  • MIDAS E-Store will not take responsibility for items not received if you attempt to send them via non registered mail
  • Any further changes of mind, will incur additional postage costs to be paid by you
  • Returned goods must be unworn & in as-new condition
  • Please note, refunds will be automatically processed back onto the card payment was made from, less freight costs.

Making a Return

There are 2 ways to return items to MIDAS:

1. Return by mail:

Within 30 days of receipt of goods:

  • Complete the E-Store exchange/return form received with your goods or click hereto print the online version.
  • Mail this completed form via registered post with your goods to:
    MIDAS E-Store,
    30 Rupert St,
    Collingwood, Vic 3066
  • Please allow 14 days for exchanges or refunds to be received.
  • Please note, you are responsible for the return shipping or handling charges however MIDAS E-Store will cover the cost of re-mailing exchange goods on one occasion.

2. Return to store (Excluding David Jones Concessions):

Within 30 days of purchase:

  • You are more than welcome to return your E-Store purchase to any MIDAS store
  • Take your goods, order form receipt & credit card into a MIDAS store.
  • The refund will only be credited to the card the goods were purchased on, so please ensure you take this with you
  • Retail stores are unable to process exchanges or refunds if order paperwork is not produced as they will have no record of your purchase.

Faulty goods?

If you believe your goods to be faulty, please read on for further information:

  • Faulty goods should be returned within a reasonable timeframe.
  • If a refund is required, the price paid for the product (as indicated on the order form) will be the price refunded to you.

Your Security

MIDAS have implemented security measures to provide you with peace of mind when purchasing from us over the internet.
When you are requested to enter your credit card details, our secure server uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) to connect to our website – this encrypts all the information sent from your pc.

You can see you have entered a secure session by the following:

  • The ‘https’ instead of the usual ‘http’ in your browser address box
  • The small padlock at the foot of your browser or next to the URL bar (IE7)

Privacy Policy

MIDAS recognises the trust you put in us when purchasing from our E-Store. Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the National Privacy Policy, any personal information we collect will be kept securely. This statement is our commitment to you.

We do not require consumers to disclose any information about them in order to browse our website, and only require minimal information in order to make a purchase.

Certain information, such as delivery addresses is stored for your convenience and is not accessible to anyone but you.

MIDAS will treat personal information we collect from you as strictly confidential. Other than as set out below, we will not reveal, disclose, pass on, sell, rent, distribute, share or license to any third parties any personal information that you may have provided to us, unless we have your prior express consent to do so.

When you register on the MIDAS website you are given the option to be added to our mailing list. If you prefer not to receive information from us, you can unsubscribe at any time by sending an email request to e-store@midasshoes.com.auor by following the unsubscribe link on any newsletter you may receive from us.

Members of our mailing list will receive advance notification of events, promotions or sales & may receive exclusive offers only available to members.

Update my details

When making your next online order login using your existing username and password. If your details are not accurate please click Edit Details to amend. Once all your details are updated click Submit to save your changes.
