We understand sometimes a product just isn't right for you, so we offer 30-Day Returns for all orders. 

To be eligible for a refund or exchange the products must be:

  • Purchased within the last 30 days
  • Unworn, undamaged and unmarked
  • In their original condition 
  • In the original packaging or shoe box (we consider this part of the item)
  • Midas Shoes does not accept returns after 30 days from the date of purchase

Midas Shoes reserves the right to decline a refund under these circumstances:

  • The return was made after 30 days
  • The products are marked, damaged or show signs of wear
  • The products are not returned in their original and undamaged box or packaging 
  • If your order included a delivery charge, only the cost of the items returned will be refunded unless the goods are deemed faulty

How to return your items:

Make sure you qualify for a return by meeting the above requirements then follow the process below:

1. Initiate your return request and print your label:

  • AUSTRALIAN ORDERS:
    • Lodge your return in our Online Returns Portal
    • You will need your Order ID (this can be found on your original order confirmation)
    • Follow the instructions to initiate your online return through the portal
    • Once you have completed your returns request using the Online Returns Portal, you will receive an email containing a free return label which you will need to print
    • Please note: the return label link is only valid for 6 hours
  • NEW ZEALAND ORDERS:
    • You will need to cover the cost of your return
    • You will not be able to lodge your return in the online returns portal so please follow the steps below

2. Pack & post your items

  • AUSTRALIAN ORDERS:
    • Place the items you want to return into their original packaging and place in a sealed post bag
    • Place the return label on the outside and post back to us
    • Make note of your return tracking number as our Customer Service team may ask for this if you need to enquire about your return
  • NEW ZEALAND ORDERS:
    • Place the items you want to return into their original packaging and place in a sealed post bag
    • Please post your items to: MIDAS SHOES E-STORE, 305 GOOCH ST, THORNBURY, VIC 3071
    • Make note of your return tracking number as our Customer Service team may ask for this if you need to enquire about your return

We cannot be held responsible if the returned shoes do not arrive at our warehouse, but having tracking information will make it much easier for us to help you should your item go missing

Refund Process:

Once returns are received in our warehouse, our Returns Team will determine whether the product is eligible for a refund. When it is approved, it will be forwarded to the Finance Team for processing. Our team will send you an email to let you know that the refund has been processed. Once your refund has been processed, please allow 1-7 business days (this may vary depending on your financial institution) for the funds to appear in your account.

The refund will be credited back to the same credit card or PayPal account that you paid from. For other forms of payment, please see below:

  • Online Credit or Promo Code:
    • If an online credit was used to place your order, we will provide you with another online credit
    • Items that were purchased during a promotional period with a voucher will be refunded for the amount paid for the item ie; the listed price for that item at time of order less discount

If any items are not valid for a return, our Customer Service team will contact you.

During peak trading times (including but not limited to Christmas and sale) refunds may take slightly longer to process.

Faulty goods:

The Midas Shoes returns policy includes the rights you are entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law.

If you have recieved faulty goods or your shoes have developed manufacturing faults after they have been worn, please contact our Customer Service Team via email at e-store@midasshoes.com.au or by phone on 1800 020 089 (AUS) between 8am - 4pm (AEST) or +613 9487 3304 (NZ) between 10am - 5pm (NZ time), Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays).

Midas Shoes may request photos of the fault claim prior to approving the return. We may also consult with the supplier or manufacturer to determine if the item is faulty.

If the item is found to be faulty, Midas Shoes will repair, replace or refund your order where appropriate.

Exchanges:

  • If the size isn’t quite right for a product you’ve ordered & you’d like to try and exchange it for another, we recommend that you phone or head in to one of our Midas Boutique Stores to see if they have the alternative size in stock.
  • Note: Unfortunately, due to David Jones store policy, we are unable to accept e-store & Afterpay returns in our David Jones Concession stores.
  • All Afterpay orders made online must also be returned and refunded in full, no exchanges can be provided.
  • Once in-store, if your alternate size is available, our store staff will be able to exchange your order for you. 
  • Please note if you are returning your purchased item and wish to exchange it for an item with a differnet value, we will need to refund your original order in full and you will need to make a new purchase.
  • Your refund will then be processed back to the credit card or PayPal account used at the time of purchase by our e-store team within 1-3 business days of the exchange being registered in-store.

We are unable to facilitate any exchanges online or via returns to our warehouse, this can only be done in-store. If you’d like to return an item, please do so via our Online Returns Portal.
